Kraven the Hunter has released its first featurette, offering fans an inside look at the upcoming film, focusing on Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s portrayal of Sergei Kravinoff, AKA Kraven the Hunter and the writing team’s darker take on the character. The video highlights the journey Kraven takes, starting as a violent anti hero influenced by his complex relationship with his father, eventually evolving into the infamous villain from Spider-Man comics. The featurette also details the physical effects that take place, the location shooting, as well as a showcase of the gritty, R-rated aesthetic of the film.

Fans have shared mixed emotions about the featurette. Many praised the deeper dive into Kraven’s psyche, with one viewer commenting: “Aaron Taylor-Johnson really looks like he’s throwing himself into the role. This is what we need—intensity and authenticity for Kraven!”.
