Popcornea is the U.K. based entertainment news website, launched in 2022.

Our founding president, Ahmed Ab, began covering entertainment media in 2017, when he launched his first YouTube channel after luckily winning tickets to an early blockbuster premiere. From there, Ahmed found a talent for writing and quickly rose with popular reviews, gaining experience at UK Film Review, ScreenRant, Subtle Media, and more.

In 2022, alongside business partner Horton Ponty, the pair officially launched the website ‘Popcornea’. This franchise sets out to report on the biggest news in Hollywood, promising readers accurate and well-written articles, doing away with the pretentiousness that plagues the community currently.

We also work in a professional, collaborative manner with companies and individuals. From press releases to long-term partnerships, Popcornea covers anything of interest, whether it be film, tv, music, or sports.
